Best Friends' Veterinary Hospital Welcome to Best Friends' Veterinary Hospital in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Best Friends' Veterinary Hospital is located in Gaithersburg, MD.

Dr. Victoria Hollifield has extensive experience with all small animals, pocket pets, birds, and reptiles, as well as cats and dogs. It was started in memory of the best friend Dr. Hollifield ever had. She believes that regardless of species, there is a connection we all have with some animals that makes them part of our chosen family. They give us never ending love and we want to do the best we can for them in return. That belief is how she runs her hospital. She treats your pet like her very own. Every procedure, preventative, or service needed is available for every species. No unnecessary procedures or medications will be prescribed, only what will directly benefit your pet's health so they can live a comfortable, full life with you. There is a long list of credentials and services for you to read, but Dr. Hollifield would like to meet you in person, so call and stop by sometime. Your direct impression is the best way to decide if we are worthy of your trust to take care of your Best Friend's health and well being.

Good afternoon, Best Friends’ Veterinary Hospital family,

With the extreme heat continuing this week, we want to remind all pet owners, especially those with rabbits, to take extra precautions to keep your pets safe and comfortable. Rabbits are highly sensitive to high temperatures and can overheat quickly. Please review our Summer Safety Tips for keeping your pet cool and safe during the upcoming hot days!

What we love most is not just our patients, but also our clients, thank you for thinking of us! ❤️ 🧁
