Heading into the long weekend? Make sure your pet is fully stocked!

Because new refill requests take up to 3 days to process, we cannot guarantee new requests submitted today will be ready before the holiday. However, if your pet has an already-approved medication or prescription diet waiting, please swing by and pick it up by Friday evening!

Our specialty departments will be closed on Monday, September 7, but VRA's ER is always open 24/7 for any unexpected emergencies or urgent care needs over the holiday break.

Veterinary Referral Associates remains open and fully operational for patient care while we continue working through ongoing phone and internet issues.

Our Emergency Service remains fully open.

Specialty services are continuing to see scheduled appointments.

Some of our communication systems are working, but clients may still experience phone interruptions, delays reaching our team, or longer-than-usual response times.

We are actively working to restore normal service and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through the remaining issues.

SERVICE UPDATE: LIMITED PHONE ACCESS
Our phone and internet systems are still experiencing issues, but we have set up temporary forwarding for our main hospital number so clients are able to call in and reach our team.

Our phone service is still limited, and we are continuing to work on restoring our ability to make outgoing calls as well. Because of this, response times may be slower than usual.

🌙 VRA is hiring an Overnight Emergency & Critical Care RVT!

If you’re an experienced veterinary technician who thrives in emergency medicine, enjoys challenging cases, and wants to work alongside a collaborative specialty and critical care team, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Overnight ECC RVTs play a hands-on role in triage, advanced nursing care, patient monitoring, emergency procedures, client communication, and supporting some of our hospital’s most critical patients.

Position highlights:
• Full-time — three 13-hour overnight shifts per week
• Active RVT license required
• 2+ years of emergency room experience required
• Sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 for qualified credentialed technicians
• Pay range: $17.64–$38.82/hour
• Medical, dental & vision insurance, 401(k), CE support, pet discounts and more
