**𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧—𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐭.**

In the rundown, you can’t be halfway committed. You can’t slow down, second-guess yourself, or run toward the stopping point without the intention of actually getting to the fence.

If you weaken before you get there your stop will flatten or scotch.

𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵.

There are moments when you have to make a decision, commit to it, and go all the way through. Not reckless. Not careless. Just intentional.

You have to 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒕.

Because half-speed effort usually produces half-speed results.

A little early morning work out for Hello Royal Kitty.

We are loving this One Time Royalty filly. She has so much natural stop and cowsense.

You never know what you’ll find around the ranch……but hey! The horses get broke around here.

The stop doesn’t start at the fence. It starts way back when you turn the corner and begin your the rundown.

If you don’t have a good rundown — good speed, good body control, complete straightness, and a horse that is committed to running through the stopping area — there isn’t much chance of having the stop you’re looking for when you do pull the trigger.

Too often, we get focused on *the stop* and forget everything that has to happen before it.

The goal isn’t to rush to the fence and hope the stop shows up, or to have a huge deep, dirt flying stop at the fence. The goal is to build a horse that **𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐮𝐧, 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐮𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 without overthinking in the stop zone, or trying to beat you to the ground.

**The fence doesn’t make the stop. The run to the fence does.**

In the horse world, it’s rare to find a trainer who can not only **train and show across multiple disciplines**, but truly understands what each discipline brings to the development of a horse.

𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗖𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗖𝗼𝘄. 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵.

A trainer with experience across these areas brings a unique advantage to both horse and owner. Each discipline teaches something different—**body control, responsiveness, confidence, athleticism, cow sense, versatility, and a strong work ethic.**

A horse doesn’t have to be limited to one arena.

Choosing a trainer who can develop a horse in multiple disciplines creates **𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲**. A well-rounded horse can appeal to a broader range of riders and buyers, while also having the foundation to transition into different jobs and competitive arenas.

But perhaps the biggest benefit is making a **good citizen**.

A horse that has been exposed to different environments, challenges, disciplines, and expectations becomes more adaptable, willing, confident, and dependable. That foundation can serve them whether they go on to the show pen, the ranch, or become someone’s trusted partner.

**𝙏𝒓𝙖𝒊𝙣 𝙛𝒐𝙧 𝙖 𝙥𝒖𝙧𝒑𝙤𝒔𝙚. 𝑫𝙚𝒗𝙚𝒍𝙤𝒑 𝒂 𝒘𝙚𝒍𝙡-𝙧𝒐𝙪𝒏𝙙𝒆𝙙 𝙖𝒕𝙝𝒍𝙚𝒕𝙚. 𝑩𝙪𝒊𝙡𝒅 𝒂 𝒈𝙤𝒐𝙙 𝙘𝒊𝙩𝒊𝙯𝒆𝙣. 𝑪𝙧𝒆𝙖𝒕𝙚 𝙤𝒑𝙩𝒊𝙤𝒏𝙨 𝙛𝒐𝙧 𝙩𝒉𝙚 𝙛𝒖𝙩𝒖𝙧𝒆.** 🐎

That’s the value of having a trainer who can truly **do it all.**
