Thankful for TX sunsets over the Carr ponds!

These ponds were built here around 1989 by Judy Aycock, using blueprints that Rex Carr had given to Danny Farmer for his West Monroe training grounds… at least that’s what was told to me.

I’m just thankful to see the sun set over them each evening…

Maybe some day I’ll know half as much about dog training as any one of them. Keep training, keep learning, one more mark.

When the geese get friendly, fall is getting closer!!! Every year these geese show up in August. Soon to follow is dry air and a north wind! Come on FALL!!

The best thing about being “up north” at the Vikingland RC trial is the amazing, down to earth, people and the “southern style” hospitality!!

No joke, Todd & Benita Otterness, and the whole club function like an amazing family. Those northerners made this Texas boy feel very welcome!

Two years in a row to run this trial and I couldn’t be more impressed. THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!
