A 1/2" 12 strand rawhide bosal w/ black walnut dyed accents that I braided about 9 years ago. Was blessed to make this for U-Braid-It Braiding Supply Co. Nothing like meshing together two different braiding styles! My braiding started out with Paracord, and slowly started learning about rawhide. When there isn't time to practice full rawhide projects, these twist hobbles with rawhide accents are a good way to practice tying a few rawhide knots! Have a blessed day!

Haven't been able to braid for a while after fracturing my wrist. But, was able to get a few hackamores cleaned, conditioned with Jay Adcock Rawhide Cream, then slit braided some new hangers left handed. The day before they headed to the NRCHA Hackamore Classic in Tulsa.

These hobbles are how I got my start into braiding. It's been a couple of years since I have made any. The flat to round transition is a lot cleaner after help from friends such as Mike Hickey! I've been blessed to learn from so many topnotch braiders, and each has their own strengths. Hopefully, I can continue to share what I've been fortunate to learn with the next generation.
