Ever wondered what life actually looks like after grad school? Or maybe you have questions like “How did you land your first job?”, “Was the PhD worth it?”, or simply “How did you survive grad school?” 😅
VGSA invites you to Grad School Unfiltered: Lessons from Our Alumni, a relaxed evening of conversation and networking with CVM grad school alumni!
We will be hanging out with,
Dr. Steven B. Tillis (Research Assistant Professor of Wildlife Disease Clinical Molecular Diagnostics, CDPM, UF/CVM)
Dr. Lopamudra Kher (Assistant Professor in Dermatology, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Colorado)
Dr. Jeff Gruntmeir (Assistant Scientist, Veterinary Parasitology, EPI, UF)
Dr. Roshen Neelawala (Postdoctoral Associate, Department of Oral Biology, College of Dentistry, UF)
Dr. Dorothea Megarani (Postdoctoral Associate, IDI, UF/CVM )
Dr. Maite De María Mulet (Contractor in support of the United States Geological Survey, Wetland and Aquatic Research Center, Center for Environmental and Human Toxicology, UF )
Come hear our alumni share their experiences navigating graduate school, transitioning into their careers, lessons they learned along the way, and things they wish they had known as graduate students. This is also a great opportunity to ask your own questions, make connections, and get some candid advice about life during and after grad school.
