https://linktr.ee/noahsarktx Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Gainesville and Cooke County by providing humane care, shelter, and adoption opportunities for stray, abandoned, and owner-relinquished animals. Noah’s Ark was founded in 2006 by a group of concerned citizens who believed animals in our community deserved more than a city pound with no adoption options and very few chances to leave alive. Today, Noah’s Ark operates independently as a community-based nonprofit while working in cooperation with the City of Gainesville through a contractual agreement to care for animal control intakes. In addition to those animals, we help hundreds of pets each year who come to us as strays, owner surrenders, and animals in need from across the community. All adoptable animals receive appropriate medical and behavioral care prior to placement, including spay or neuter surgery, core vaccinations, microchipping, and individualized assessment. Over time, Noah’s Ark has grown to expand adoption opportunities beyond our local area by coordinating safe, responsible transportation with trusted partners. This allows animals to reach loving homes in other regions when local adoption demand is limited, helping even more pets find the second chances they deserve. Noah’s Ark is a nonprofit organization sustained by the generosity of donors, local businesses, and grant support. We are proud to hold the Candid (GuideStar) Platinum Seal of Transparency, reflecting our commitment to accountability and to ensuring every dollar entrusted to us directly supports the animals in our care.
