Now that I have retired from Amazon, I have been devoting all my time to my flowers, veggies, & fruit trees. And COWS! Coming soon, I'm so excited to finally be seeing my goal accomplished. While I wait a little longer, I will go harvest my blackberries. Pictures to follow.

Walked outside yesterday early evening and stupid deer was munching on my Fuji apples! She ate 3 of my babies! If I had had a shotgun handy, we would be eating venison! We have too large of a population of deer right now and they need thinned out!

Permaculture "forest garden" produces tons of food each year, while practically tending itself: https://returntonow.net/2020/10/12/forest-garden-with-500-kinds-of-food-requires-only-a-few-hours-of-work-per-month/

The last cold snap did not hurt the peach and nectarine tree. They have fruit growing! Hopefully, I will get a nice batch! Cherry trees have lots of fruit staring and for those since they are dwarf trees I am trying these net bags over them to help keep the birds and bugs away. I need a big harvest! I'm finishing up my last jar of cherry jam, which is my very favorite. Blackberries are blooming nice and hope to get a nice batch of those this year! Plum and plumcot trees don't look like they will do anything this year, bummer. No homegrown red plum jam for Uncle Buff, I will have to go to the pick your own for those!

These pictures are from 2020 when they were working on removing the trees. Where before you had nothing but thick trees on each side of drive all the way to house you can see how it is now opened up. Left side of pictures will be the cow pasture and right side will be the horse pasture. I will be posting pictures of what it looks like now with all the grading done.
