Biltmore's 30th anniversary endurance ride! This ride has been on my list of rides for years. I finally made it there and it did not disappoint. Even after all of the hurricane damage the grounds were absolutely gorgeous, stunning views and oerfect weather. Blu and Pickes both attempted their first 65 mile ride and we got it done! They both felt and looked amazing all day eating like champs along the trails that has lush green grass. Skylar did an amazing job piloting pickles through the day. Skylar mom, the rest of her crew and my husband did an amazing job at crewing for us all day. I can't wait to come back next year!

Midnight Chaos is a 5 year old gelding standing 16.1. Chaos last raced in October of 2024. Chaos has been ridden in and out of the arena. He is solid on the trails. He crosses water and bridges. Bikes and traffic are not a problem. He has been to a hunter pace and handled the spooky Halloween shenanigans like an old pro. Pops over small jumps. Amateur friendly, youth friendly with a trainer. This guy just wants to be in your back pocket getting all the scratches he can get.

Spruce Creek Recap

We had a 3 for 3 completion!

Mc Downtown Blues aka Blu, my 2023 Extreme Mustang Makeover horse that I bought back finally had her debut in endurance! She completed her first 50 mile endurance ride! She was strong all day with amazing CRI scores despite her nervousness for vet (we definitely still have a lot of improvement on her vetting skills but she will get better.)

MC What's the Big Dill aka Pickles also made his debut in endurance this weekend. Pickles came home with me after my trip to California to do tevis. Jessica Routh did an amazing job piloting him in her first 50. Thank you for taking such great care of him all day!

Last but not least MC Geo's Odyssey joined us last minute to allow a junior to ride in the 25. After his amazing performance at tevis he cruised on through a nice 25! Thank you Sean for piloting him all day as well!

The trail has tons and tons of water, all three horses chugged right on through! I couldn't have asked for a better ride! My husband Tony Vito was amazing at crewing for us all day making sure we had everything we needed, thanks at ton!

Pickles the "new" guy got to do his first ever hunter pace today with some great friends! We even popped over a few jumps. This guy is so much fun!

Barry is looking for his next partner. He can go in any direction, he would make a great hunter, dressage, trail, endurance or potentially a barrel horse. He has a fantastic brain, not crazy but will go if asked but is also content taking it easy. He is not a spooky horse, he has been exposed to dogs, farm equipment, scooters, atvs, traffic, gunfire (could care less, even chose to graze 50 feet away) and more.

Barry ties, bathes and stands great for the farrier. He is an uncomplicated ride, easy enough for an amateur owner or teenager to bring along with guidance.

Barry is up to date on shots and coggins. He last raced in January and has been let down and restarted. He has clean tight legs, no previous injuries.

FITS Recap

Friday Habibi and Geo both started and completed their first 75 mile ride. They both ate and drank well all day and felt amazing all the way to completion finishing 7th and 8th. Tori (a junior) piloted Geo in her first ever endurance ride and did an amazing job taking care of him. Both horses looked great Sunday once we got back home.

Saturday I got to pilot CAA Justa Fez King aka King in the 50 mile ride. We completed 8th, King drank at almost every big puddle and water trough we passed. He is one of the sweetest and easiest stallions I have had the pleasure to work with. Thank you Cathy for letting me ride your boy!

Another 50 mile endurance ride for the books! Habibi completed her 4th 50 mile ride this weekend with my sister piloting her. Geo completed his 3rd 50 mile endurance ride. It was a very cold start at 28 degrees but it eventually warmed up into a gorgeous day. Both horses looked and felt great all day.

Gothe Gallavant was a blast this past weekend. Habibi completed her 3rd 50 mile endurance ride! Habibi has been an absolute rockstar the past few rides and has really taken to endurance riding. She actually gained weight instead of lost weight over the weekend. Crockett attended as well for his first endurance debut where he got to camp for the weekend and he did his first intro ride on Sunday. Thankfully we beat all of the nasty weather Sunday. I can't wait for the next one!

He is a SOLID 12 year old titled mustang gelding.
14.3h and stocky
Way more whoa than go.
Does anything you ask of him with a “meh, whatever, okay” attitude. Not spooky at all.
Easy to ride, tack, bit, handle, walk, load, bathe, everything is just easy with him.
Rides western or english.
Loves going over obstacles.
Barefoot with fantastic feet.
Ace is great out on the trails, leads follows or sits mid pack no problem. A large group can take off at a gallop in front of him and he won't care in the least.
