Pink Knob Plotts

Directions

Pink Knob Plotts Big game Plott hounds bred from proven Hicks, Brandenburger, and Crockett bloodlines. Silent on track, relentless at the tree. This is what PKP is built on.

We focus on early starting pups, hard tree power, and the kind of grit that holds big game.

Jane’s been making a name for herself one track at a time.

Can’t wait to get some pups on the ground out of this female and see what she brings to the next generation of the PKP team!

This is what a PKP dog dreams about!

Trail cameras are starting to light up with some action around here… and it’s got us ready for the woods.

Right now it’s naps in the sunshine. Before long it’ll be long nights, rough country, and something at the end of the track.
Enjoy it while it lasts, youngins.

One day, the dog you’re loading in the box will only live in pictures, videos, and stories.

That’s the thing about good hounds — we never get enough time with them.

So take the videos. Enjoy the long nights and early mornings. Listen to them run. Remember the little things.

These are the good days we’ll wish we could come back to someday.

So enjoy every hunt. Live every moment. And never take a good hound for granted.

Struck out early with the crew this morning and put two boars on the board with the young dogs doing the work. These young guns are right on the brink of making the big leagues and earning their spot in the pack.

Briars grabbing at every step. Heat climbing by the minute.

Glad the team was able to stop the race quick.

They put the brakes on this boar and got him handled before the day got too hot

A good boar hog put the young dogs to the test today, and they answered the call. He dished out a few hard lessons along the way, but they stayed hooked, kept the pressure on, and got him stopped.

They took a few cuts from this old warrior, but that’s part of the game when you’re learning what you’re made of. We got them cleaned up, patched up, and they’ll be back in the woods before long.

Every hunt tells you a little more about what’s in a dog. These young ones keep showing us exactly what we hoped they would!
