That’s the thing about good hounds — we never get enough time with them.

So take the videos. Enjoy the long nights and early mornings. Listen to them run. Remember the little things.

These are the good days we’ll wish we could come back to someday.

A good boar hog put the young dogs to the test today, and they answered the call. He dished out a few hard lessons along the way, but they stayed hooked, kept the pressure on, and got him stopped.

They took a few cuts from this old warrior, but that’s part of the game when you’re learning what you’re made of. We got them cleaned up, patched up, and they’ll be back in the woods before long.

Every hunt tells you a little more about what’s in a dog. These young ones keep showing us exactly what we hoped they would!
