Over 160 days of waiting, and Izzy is still hoping for her fresh start! 🐾✨

At just one year old, this sweet girl is ready to find her forever family. She’s spent the last five months with us at the shelter, patiently waiting for the right person to walk through the door and see just how special she is.

Izzy has suspected feline lower airway disease (feline asthma), which is currently well-managed, and she is not showing any respiratory symptoms at this time. Like many cats with this condition, she may experience intermittent flare-ups that require veterinary care and medication. She also has a small focal area of cloudiness in her right eye. These manageable conditions don't stop her from enjoying life or being a wonderful companion.

Long-term residents like her are true hidden gems; all she needs is a warm lap, a sunny window, and someone to give her the care and home she deserves.

If you're joining us for the 2026 Adoption Lock-In, don't forget that you must raise at least $50 by THIS FRIDAY, August 7th, to guarantee your preferred t-shirt size!

Reaching that first $50 milestone not only secures your official event tee in the size you want, but it immediately goes to work providing food, medical care, and second chances for the animals at HSNEGA. 🐶❤️

(Note: You can still earn a t-shirt if you hit the $50 milestone after Friday, but preferred sizes can only be guaranteed for those who hit it by the deadline!)

Please note: The event is first-come, first-served, and it is highly encouraged to arrive early. This vaccine clinic will serve cats only.

We are providing the following free of charge:
Rabies
FVRCP
Microchips

Important Safety Guidelines
To ensure the safety of all pets, owners, and our staff, please adhere to the following:
Cats must be in individual carriers.
For the safety of everyone, we are unable to treat pets that are unmanageable or pose a handling risk.
