🐾 Meet Holden, a sweet dog with a complex story! Today, during his evaluation with Jimmy, our lead trainer and certified canine specialist, we noticed Holden displaying fear and snapping at other dogs. Interestingly, his owners reported that he was social and had even visited other dog daycares.

The irony is that sometimes we think a dog is having fun, but in reality, they may be under pressure, struggling to cope with a stressful situation. Understanding these subtle cues is essential for fostering a safe environment for our furry friends.

Luna arrived very insecure and wouldn’t let me get close; she wouldn’t accept treats or petting, she would run away when I tried to put on her leash, and getting her out of the cage was a real challenge. Little by little, she is building the confidence she needs to move forward. It’s not perfect yet, but she has made progress, and we are continuing the process.
