A familiar friend stayed close during Brida’s surgery day 🦩

Brida came to our Tower Hill location for surgical removal of a mast cell tumor, with her flamingo nearby for a little extra comfort during recovery 💙

Mast cell tumors are among the most common skin tumors in dogs, and their appearance and behavior can vary. Surgical removal is a common treatment option, with the treatment plan depending on factors such as the tumor’s location, size, and characteristics.

If your pet has a new lump or bump, or one that has recently changed in size or appearance, talk with your primary veterinarian about having it evaluated. For pets needing specialty surgical care, our CCVS team is here to work alongside you and your veterinarian.

There will be no Walk-In Wednesday on September 2nd while our oncology team is away.

Walk-In Wednesday will resume on September 9th, with a limited number of appointments available so our team can prioritize patients who need ongoing treatments and those with the greatest need for same-day care.
If your pet is sick or experiencing an urgent change in their condition, please contact our Emergency & Critical Care team for assessment.
