✉️ Adoptions: [email protected] Once you fill out an adoption application and are approved to adopt, you will pay the adoption fee to the shelter. When the surgery date is confirmed with the vet, the staff will carry the pet to the vet to have them spay/neutered and get a rabie

s vaccination. The adoption fee includes first DHPP and bordatella vaccines, first round of wormer, spay/neuter and rabies vaccine. Some pets are already sterilized and current on vaccinations. These pets are available for adoption once the adoption fee is paid.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to partner with such a wonderful local business that truly cares about our community and the animals we serve. Opening your doors to us, welcoming our shelter team, and helping us showcase our amazing adoptable dogs means more than words can express. 🐶✨

Our sweet girl Cheesy Breadstick has officially been adopted and has headed home with her forever family! We couldn’t be more excited for this adorable little kitty as she begins her next chapter filled with love, cozy naps, endless toys, and plenty of snuggles.

🍽️📚 From the shelter cafeteria crew to a forever home of her very own, Cheesy Breadstick has truly earned an A+ in stealing hearts! Her sweet personality, playful spirit, and extra sprinkle of cuteness made her impossible to resist.

Please note that Etowah County Animal Shelter will be closed today, Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth is a day of remembrance, reflection, and celebration as we honor freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality. We encourage our community to take a moment to recognize the significance of this important day and celebrate the values of unity, compassion, and hope.

While our doors will be closed to the public today, our commitment to the animals in our care never takes a day off. 🐾 Our dedicated team will still be on-site ensuring that every animal receives the love, attention, meals, cleaning, enrichment, exercise, and medical care they need. The safety, comfort, and well-being of our shelter pets remain our top priority each and every day.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we observe this meaningful holiday.

Today’s special is served with a whole lot of happy news! Our sweet boy kitten, Mac & Cheese, has packed up his lunch tray and headed off to a wonderful foster home! 🐾💛

This adorable little guy has officially traded in his shelter kennel for a cozy spot filled with love, comfort, and plenty of snuggles. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter in his journey!

Just like everyone’s favorite cafeteria classic, Mac & Cheese is the perfect combination of warm, comforting, and impossible not to love. With his playful personality, sweet spirit, and extra cheesy charm, it’s no surprise that he melted hearts everywhere he went. 🧀✨

From zoomies down the hallway to cuddle sessions worthy of a gold-star lunch tray, Mac & Cheese has brought so much joy to our shelter. Watching him head off to foster is like getting an extra scoop of your favorite side dish—it’s simply the best feeling! 🥄💛
