A little late in posting but a little recap from our Tryon Summer dressage outing a few weeks ago.
Aimee Klemenz and her Ziggy had a stellar show earning scores of 68%, 67.6%, 67.7% and 65% winning all four classes and earning second level high score amateur. A big feat considering last year at this show he was still quite nervous about leaving his buddies in the warmup.
Deanna Davis Dorada was stellar and a little edgy in her first ride of the weekend earning a 64.4% and second place finish in a large I1 class.
Olaf tagged along to continue to build on his rideability at shows.

Huge Congratulations to Aimee Klemenz!!!!

What’s Going on Wednesday at Horse & Buddy? We are doing a happy dance! 🎉

Help us congratulate Aimee on officially becoming a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) through PATH Intl.!

Aimee has spent the past year working tirelessly toward this achievement. She completed online tests, passed a proctored exam, logged hours under the supervision of experienced CTRIs, filmed and submitted a full teaching video, and jumped through all the detailed hoops that PATH requires. This certification is no small feat — it takes dedication, skill, patience, and heart.

Aimee handled every step with grace and grit, and we could not be more proud. We’re thrilled to welcome her as the 10th CTRI on our Horse & Buddy Instructor Team!

Some years ago this eventer up in Durham called me about helping her improve her dressage scores on her little OTTB …. She’s now a good friend and full on dressage convert and last week she and that same little thoroughbred earned their USDF silver medal!
I’m beyond proud her her hard work and dedication to the sport!
