Court Jester Stables is slowly starting the search to add another lesson horse to our program! Unfortunately, we’re looking for the horse everyone else is. But if you have any leads, I may be the most uncomplicated buyer on the market! Open to free leases, care leases or paid leases as well!
Must haves:
-16 hands +
-gelding (it would take an exceptional mare to make me put up another pasture to house said mare)
-stands on cross ties to be brushed/tacked up
-safe and sane
-able to sit and then pick back up where he left off
-sound (I understand with my budget and what I’m looking for I cannot ask for a horse with no maintenance, reasonable maintenance is fine! I’m willing to inject, Chiro, acupuncture, reasonable shoe accommodations)
-half dead (seriously more whoa than go!)
While a horse with no limitations would be fantastic, the job I see for this horse is below 2’6” at the absolute max. Most of his days will be spent with me say “up, down, up, down” the majority of the lesson.
Mid-4’s with some wiggle room for the right horse! North East, closer to NY the better!
