We finally got some warm weather this week after a few cold , rainy and windy stints here in So cal and with the temps rising so have some animals activities increased also first some of my 2024 uromastyx yemenensis Im raising up from a Canadian shipment they are doing really great thriving growing well raising these up to mix with my other yemenensis colony , the following babies are last season's babies a friend back east hatched out last season, I also added some photos off my baby uromastyx princeps who hatched here by me doing well growing but anyone who has raised princeps knows how small babies are when they are born and how slow they grow from all the babies and species i have had luck producing princeps are by far the smallest I have seen hatched , I included a group photo shot of some of last year's babies from yemenensis, princeps and ocellata , lasty i added some photos of some white bandeds both males being hatched here but females came from other breeders im raising up for future breeding hoping to produce more f2 and hoping for f3 white bandeds in the future. Im also hosting my very first auction this weekend on Morph market live event for anyone looking to add something to the collection or a new family member it will be Saturday afternoon around 1 pm pacific thanks for checking out the pics

Here is a winter photo dump been super busy this off season with some unexpected maintenance needed on some adult uromastyx enclosures the old fluorescent grow light i was using all decided to crash back to back so had to get them replaced we got hit with good amount rain here in California earlier in winter , but as of now this week we have been getting some unusual warmer weather and alot of animals have come out of brumation and come out eating pretty good , but still not like spring or summer metabolism I have pictured a adult male white banded male , my Egyptian Tortoises, some diff species of baby greeks tortoises all growing well and my baby white banded uromastyx growing really well this winter season they went down a bit on really cold rainy days , but have been really active still. Hoping everyone has a safe and great start to their New years and great success this season to there breeding projects .

Here is a fall photo dump been so busy with doing bedding changes to a more natural bedding for the uromastyx started in summer and still changing as much as i can into fall here are a group of animals I have been raising up the past year from male yemenensis I received from scott wilson a year ago to female yemenensis I been raising for a few years was also super lucky to add multiple morrocan flame uromastyx yearlings im raising up for future breeders along with some high yellow morrocans not the common green blue ones the morrocans are EU imports , I also decided to cut back in my ctenosaura projects and decided to work with testudo tortoises again was really lucky to acquire some beautiful cbb morrocan and lybyan tortoises from my friends over at .tortoise.compound really excited to see them mature into adults in the next few years , also got lucky to find a young adult pair of Egyptian Tortoises from my friend Devon over I also recently got back a group of sub adult white banded uromastyx females and one male i hatched years ago from a friend out of state ill be raising the group up for more future breeders trying to preserve this rare locality of uromastyx in captivity, have really been digging the new bedding I got from my buddy Dalton over For my uromastyx and tortoises they are really enjoying it . The rest of the animals are either babies hatched here ready to go or other projects like the saara hardwickki i got back in spring that did really well and acclimated with me great .
Thanks all for who have helped me this year bounce back after a bad year last year , blessed to be able to work with these animals .

The white banded hatchling uromastyx are growing really well and thriving here they are approaching the 6 week mark and some are already flying out to their forever homes this coming week, I'm really happy to be able to keep and breed this species for the time I have been working with them as you can see a proud dad with its offspring in the first photo followed by the same baby laying on his dad's neck area the male is a uscb male that came from Doug dix in 2016 from his white silver lines and the last photo is a example of 4 bloodlines of banded uromastyx hatched here this season the far right is a orange banded and the 3 middle and left ones are all white bandeds

Most of the babies have hatched the past few weeks , I haven't had much down time to post with alot of stuff going on so far all the white flavifasciata (banded ) uromastyx clutches hatched total of 4 clutches all unrelated pairings I haven't hatched these guys in the past 2 years due to health issues , but i been lucky this season to get a few amount of babies this season unplanned I also managed to hatch a baby princeps this season the clutch was small of 4 eggs 2 eggs went bad halfway incubation and only 1 made it from the 2 left im still ecstatic to hatch it all that's left to hatch is a orange flavifasciata clutch of a unrelated pairing they should hatch any day this week . Hoping this locality of white flavifasciata become more popular and available in the future they seem to not be around or available as often as the other's here domestically .

Ever since I started keeping uros in the late 2000s I always wanted to keep all the locality of Banded uromastyx (uromastyx flavifasciata) it was at my first reptile expo back in anaheim 2008-09 I saw them in person thanks to Doug dix who had babies on his booth I instantly fell in love with them along with most of the North African species , but flavifasciata are probably my favorite in my collection why I keep a good amount of them in each color hoping to produce more of these gems in the future so others can enjoy them as much as i been lucky to keep them . In the slides you can see all 3 colors from different males difference in ages as well the orange and yellows are cb imports from europe while the large white male was hatched from Lindsay pike some years ago .
