Just posting a picture to clear up some confusion from earlier this week with Rip (named after a Yellowstone character because he’s so handsome), our tree-walking coonhound. A few people thought he was a beagle. So here’s a picture of Ollie, our beagle, on the left and Rip, our coonhound, on the right. 🐾♥️🐾♥️ both amazing both available for adoption.

6/10/26. LOST DOGS - PERU, ME

Champ and T-Bone are missing from their Serenity Lane home in Peru, ME. Champ is a neutered male, Yellow Lab. He's 2 years old, 85lbs wearing a collar and microchipped. T-Bone is a Bulldog, 2 years old, 65lbs and brindle in color. He is also neutered and wearing a collar. If you see these boys, please CALL Joy at 207-357-6262

Tongue out Tuesday!!!🐾🐶🩵

Rippy hopes his future home will have lots of balls for him to play with! This handsome guy has been waiting since December!!! Rip is a 5 year old hound who is here at the shelter because he was a hunting dog and he would not hunt anymore. Rip was an outdoor dog who had not lived inside, and he has adjusted to shelter life amazingly!! He had not been house trained but he is a quick learner and now he hardly ever has any accidents in his kennel. His walking on a leash skills have also greatly improved since he came in. Rip loves to run around outside and can entertain himself with a ball forever! It's so cute to see him tossing his ball in the air and running after it. Rip is a super social guy who loves other dogs and children! He's a lovebug who wants to be friends with everyone. He would likely not do well in a home with a cat due to his past as a hunting dog. Rip is a great guy who has been waiting patiently for his furrever home. He would love it if you'd share this post so more people can see him!
