Big Orange 🍊 is finally ready for a proper introduction. He was part of a massive hoarding case we took in from February, and as a result of living with so many other cats he wasn’t properly socialized with humans.
Big Orange was terrified of the shelter and for the longest time we thought he was completely feral, we started to lose hope we would be able to work with him at all and started preparing him for a barn home (hence the ear tip)
Until one random day where he seemed to have a change of heart overnight. He started to approach us and vocalize more. He now chatters to us all day everyday and we love it 🧡
Big Orange’s two favorite things are Churu treats and other cats. We really think he’d blossom in a home with another cat companion based off his reaction to them at the shelter: he will run across the room to greet other cats and adorably rubs his head against theirs.
We would love to find this big guy a loving home but do want to be honest- he is still a work in progress as far as socializing goes. He loves pets but is still very unsure of being picked up. We think he would be so much happier in a home with other cats and that would help with confidence and make socializing him all the more easy.
Big Orange is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/ FeLV.
