Have a BIG dog looking for a best friend?

And when we say big, we mean BIG. 😆

In foster, Cardi has become one of Kobe’s favorite playmates, and the feeling is definitely mutual. Kobe is a 130-pound XL Bully, and Cardi has absolutely no problem keeping up with her giant foster brother. And she is vocal~

The video we’ll be sharing tomorrow is one of our favorites yet. Watching Cardi race around the patio, play, and simply enjoy being a dog is a beautiful reminder of how far she has come.

Not long ago, Cardi’s world revolved around raising puppies. Today, she’s discovering toys, playtime, dog friends, and all the simple joys she may have missed while busy being a mama.

As we continue learning more about her, Cardi is showing us she genuinely enjoys other dogs when introductions are done properly. She’s playful, social, people-loving, and always ready for fun.

And honestly? Seeing her confidence grow a little more every day has been one of the best parts of fostering her.

Cardi has done her job.

Her babies are finding families.

Now it’s her turn.

Java Joe has an approved adopter, they met this weekend and it went well. Leading up to her adoption, she has been hanging out with a temp foster, Beans until her foster family is back and he is also an MSGBR alumni. They are hitting it off, so well. ♥️

🎉 Happy Tales: Mama Precious 🎉

Today was Mama Precious’ day.

Today, her foster loaded her up, gave her one more hug, and headed out to meet the family who would become hers forever. And just like that, another rescue chapter came to its beautiful conclusion.

When Precious first came to us, we didn’t know her full story. We only knew she deserved a chance. Over the weeks that followed, we would learn what a truly special girl she is. Sweet. Gentle. Patient. The kind of dog who loves quietly but completely.

We watched her raise her puppies with incredible grace. We watched her settle into foster life. We watched her begin to trust. And today, we watched her walk into the next chapter of her life.

To her foster families, thank you for opening your home and your hearts. Thank you for helping Precious & her babies feel safe while she waited for her forever.

To her adopters, thank you for choosing a rescue dog. Thank you for seeing the beautiful soul behind those sweet eyes. We cannot wait to watch your journey together.

To our volunteers, fosters, supporters, transporters, donors, veterinarians, adopters, and every person who plays a role in this rescue, thank you. Dogs like Precious remind us that rescue is never about one person. It is about a village. A village of people willing to show up, over and over again, for dogs who need them.

Today, that village changed the course of another life.

For months, we’ve talked about Cardi as a mama.

We’ve shared puppy updates.
We’ve celebrated milestones.
We’ve watched her raise an entire family.

But this video?

This isn’t Mama Cardi.

This is just… Cardi. ❤️

A young dog discovering that life can be fun.

Watching her play on her foster family’s patio, you can almost see the shift happening. The weight of motherhood is gone. The constant responsibility is gone. For the first time in a long time, she gets to focus on the important things…

Running.
Playing.
Exploring.
Being silly.
Being loved.

And honestly? We are here for it.

Cardi is a people-loving girl with a playful personality and a zest for life that grows more every day. She has done the hard part. She raised her babies, kept them safe, and trusted humans to help her along the way.

Now it’s her turn.

Her turn for the toys.
Her turn for the adventures.
Her turn for the couch.
Her turn for the family.

Every day we see a little more of the dog she was always meant to be, and we can’t wait for her forever family to experience that for themselves.

Adoptable Winston MSGBR.org

1 week with Winston! He's settling in pretty well. He has not had any potty accidents since his first day. He's doing much better in his crate at night, since it's been moved to our bedroom for overnight. He does fine with dogs and cats, and has been fine meeting all kinds or people and kids so far.
