A MASSIVE thank you to Julie, Linda, Rhonda, and our amazing anonymous donor for your incredibly generous donations!

We got the fly boots, fly bags, ivermectin, fly spray, and Desitin cream!!! We are so incredibly grateful.

I’m currently in the process of figuring out who fits what size. So far, these fly boots are working out great for Barry and Buster.

As you can probably see, they were both "having a day" and absolutely refused to let me put them on their back legs. So, Desitin cream it is for them! 😂With these guys, some days it's a yes, and some days it's a hard no. The desitin works so this a win-win for them and me. Haha!

Thank you all again for the wonderful donations. I promise we will put every last thing to good use, and this is going to go a LONG way in our battle against the flies! 🪰

LADY BUG, COWBOY BOB & a small miracle in about 45 minutes!

Lady Bug isn't just any horse - she's a Becky's Hope rescue who was adopted by one of our own, Cari, about 7 years ago. At 30+ years old and battling navicular in both front feet, she hasn't attempted to load onto a trailer in approximately 5 years, and in the past, it was always a bit of a struggle. We know unexpected vet visits or potential medical transfers could happen at any moment. And let's be real - when you have a senior horse with medical challenges, being able to safely and calmly load her onto a trailer isn't just a skill, it's a potential lifeline.

So we called Cowboy Bob with one mission: help Lady Bug confidently load onto a trailer BEFORE we might desperately need to do so in an emergency. Because preparation? That's love.

What happened next was nothing short of magic. In just 45 MINUTES - with zero struggle and ALL positive energy - Cowboy Bob did what seemed almost impossible. Watch til end - they’re all popping in and out of the trailer like it’s nothing!

Cowboy Bob - you're helped so many horses and Donkeys at Becky's Hope… and we're so grateful to you for your help. We've learned so much from you and can't wait to learn more!
