We are heartbroken!! Jackie and Shadow entranced the world with their parenting and nest building!! Jackie's resilience and determination as a mother is something all moms can relate to!

Fly high Jackie!! Fly high!!

Big Bear's beloved bald eagle Jackie, who had been receiving intensive medical care for a prolonged illness, has died.

Shout out to Xcaret Park located in the Riviera Maya near Cancun, Mexico, hosts one of the world's most successful Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao) and Military Macaw conservation programs. The facility has won two Guinness World Records for its breeding success and has successfully reintroduced hundreds of macaws into the Mexican wild. One of the reasons it's my favorite place to visit!! Bravo Xcaret!!
