As a general practice hospital for cats and dogs, we offer comprehensive services including routine wellness care, vaccines, dentistry, orthopedics, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and ophthalmology. We have been serving the valley for over 30 years. During this period we have made significant progress in our facility as well as in personnel. Besides being a general practice, we have been taking care o

f eye problems in the Fresno area for over 20 years. Since then we have realized that the eyes need different attention than the general body, so we set up a separate eye clinic area. This section is fully equipped to do a proper eye exam and surgery. In order to facilitate all the technologies and in depth search for your pet’s health problems, we have expanded from a one doctor practice to a multi doctor care plus our staff is experienced and willing to serve the pet’s needs. Our motto is Care, Love, Healing, and Joy. For your pet’s safety, please make sure to have them on a leash or in a carrier. Let us work together to keep your pets healthy and happy for many years to come. 🐾 A Friendly Reminder from Shield Stone Pet Hospital 🐾

We absolutely love seeing all of your furry family members! ❤️ However, as the summer temperatures rise🌡🌡, we kindly ask that only pets with scheduled appointments accompany you to the hospital.

Why are we making this request?
🐶 Our exam rooms and lobby have limited space.
🌡️ It's too hot 🔥 to leave pets in vehicles, even for a short time.
🩺 Extra pets can be distracting during appointments, making it harder for our doctors and staff to focus on the patient receiving care.

For the comfort and safety of all pets, we kindly ask that pets without appointments stay home 🏡 where they can relax in a cool, familiar environment.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us provide the best possible care to every patient we see. We can't wait to welcome your pets when it's their turn to visit! 🐾💙
