Rancho de Rodney

Rancho de Rodney https://ranchoderodney.org Rancho de Rodney was founded by retired Command Master Chief / Chief of the Boat Rodney Wells, who served in the U.S.

Navy on active duty for 30 years, leaving with a 70% service-connected disability rating. He was assisted by his wife Sherril. We grow nutrition-packed vegetables, fruits, and herbs by natural methods only. Rodney died from his service-connected disabling condition in 2020, and Rancho de Rodney continues so as to honor him and carry on his dream of helping others.

Yesterday we delivered 137.5 pounds of artichokes, squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, chard, apricots, and sweet peppers to Bethany Church in downtown Fresno for their food distribution. The manager says that the folks grab the fresh produce first! We have added a vicious new produce guardian dog to keep those pesky squirrels away from the cherry tomatoes.
