Dollar entered our care with a microchip but has not been reclaimed by his owners. On intake, he was noted to have hair thinning on his neck. He was negative for ringworm with the woodslamp. This boy entered our care after he was transferred from a nearby animal hospital. He came in with lacerations on his left side shoulder/ribcage area. His wounds were clipped and cleaned and he was started on antibiotics and pain medication. In our care, he has remained friendly. He urgently needs placement for continued care. Bandit entered our care with a swollen right rear leg. Radiographs were performed and are pending review. He is currently in a splint and being administered pain medication. In our care, he is not allowing handling from staff. When approached at his kennel, he will raise his lip and show his teeth. He is also fractious for treatments. This nervous girl recently entered our care with her left eye protruding out of the socket. She was quickly transferred over to our medical unit where our medical team proceeded with an enucleation of the left eye. She is currently recovering from surgery. At this time, she is not allowing staff to handle her or administer treatments. She is snapping and attempting to back away. We are urgently seeking placement for this nervous girl in an environment where she can decompress.
