Think your reactive dog can’t change? Watch this.

Reactive dogs aren’t “bad” dogs. They’re dogs who need guidance, confidence, and the right training approach.
In this reel, you’ll see the difference that consistent training can make when it comes to helping a dog navigate triggers and feel more comfortable in the world around them.
Our trainer, Kiara Cordova, specializes in positive reinforcement training and has experience working with reactive dogs. Through reward-based methods, she helps dogs build confidence while strengthening the bond between pets and their people.
If your dog struggles with barking, lunging, overexcitement, or reacting to people, dogs, or new environments, training can help.

Happy Tails are our favorite stories to share. 🐾❤️

Every adoption is a second chance at love, comfort, and happiness, and this week, Andre finally got his happy ending.

Andre (7166) arrived in our care this March as an owner surrender. When he first came to us, he was covered in ticks and fleas and was later diagnosed with a tick disease called Ehrlichia. Despite everything he went through, Andre stayed resilient, overcame his illness, and never gave up.

Now, Andre has officially found his forever home where he can finally enjoy the love and care he always deserved.

Stories like Andre’s remind us that healing is possible, hope is real, and every animal deserves a chance at a better life.
