Valley Animal Center is the largest no-kill dog and cat adoption center in the Central Valley, along with a low-cost clinic, membership based dog park and humane education center. A heartfelt thank you to the Carl and Lulu Mitchell Family Foundation, our Diamond in the Ruff sponsor, for helping make our Paws & Pearls Gala possible!

Based in Clovis, the foundation supports education, human services, and charitable giving. We are grateful they extended that generosity to the dogs and cats at Valley Animal Center.

Their support helped us raise $38,765 to provide shelter, care, and second chances for animals waiting for loving homes. Thank you for being part of their journey toward a brighter future!

Something spooky is waiting at Valley Animal Center’s 5th Annual Halloween Trunk-or-Treat! This year’s Haunted Maze is BIGGER and SCARIER than ever!

For just $5 per person, brave creepy creatures and unexpected scares around every corner. These photos from last year are just a taste of what’s to come!

Join us Saturday, October 24, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. for candy, food, vendors, games, raffles, and more!

Trunk-or-Treat admission is FREE, and every maze entry helps support the dogs and cats in our care.

It’s Happy Tails Wednesday, and we have some wonderful news to celebrate!

This past week, 14 dogs and cats found their forever homes, and we couldn’t be happier to see them begin their next chapters with loving families!

We’re especially excited for Leo and Margot, two 6-year-old cats who finally found their people! Older cats often have a harder time finding homes, as they are overlooked for younger kittens. But Leo and Margot are proof that every cat, regardless of age, deserves a chance to be loved.

A special thank you to their adopters for seeing how much love these two still have to give and to every family who opened their hearts and homes to a shelter animal this week.

💔 URGENT: ARNIE & SCOOTER NEED FOSTERS!
After losing their owner, these two senior boys went from the comfort of a home to the unfamiliar shelter environment.

They're shy, scared, and struggling to adjust. They need out of the shelter and into loving foster homes.
We're looking for patient fosters who can give them time to decompress and feel safe again.

🐾 Temporary commitment: 4–6 weeks
🐾 All supplies provided
🐾 Meet-and-greets required if you have dogs

They've already lost their person. Please help them find comfort again.
