**Fall Safety Tips from Gandalf:** 🐾

**Watch the temperature drops** – Cooler mornings and evenings mean it's time to think about keeping senior pets and those with health conditions comfortable 🐾

**Seasonal plants** – Some fall favorites like chrysanthemums can be harmful to pets if ingested 🐾

**Mushrooms** – With fall rains come wild mushrooms, and many are toxic to pets. Keep your pups away from any mushrooms during walks! 🐾

**Rodenticides** – As temperatures drop, rodents seek shelter indoors, which means more rodenticides are being used. These are extremely dangerous to pets! 🐾

**Antifreeze** – Fall car maintenance often includes antifreeze, which is highly toxic and tastes sweet to pets. Clean up any spills immediately! Gandalf wants all his furry friends to stay safe and healthy this fall! 💙🐾

💜 In loving memory of Samba 💜

Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we can't save them all.

Samba, a beautiful wild cat from Project Survival's Cat Haven, came to us after being bitten twice by a rattlesnake. Our team immediately began life-saving measures — antivenom treatment that successfully reduced echinocytes to 0%. But her heart stopped, and she never recovered.

Losing a patient is never easy, especially when our team has fought so hard alongside them. We're honored to have been able to provide Samba with compassionate care in her final moments.

Our deepest condolences go out to everyone at Project Survival Cat Haven. We know how much Samba was loved, and we're holding you all in our hearts during this difficult time. 🐾💜 Rest peacefully, sweet Samba. You were so loved.

Today, we're celebrating the dogs who make our FVSEC team members' lives complete! From the moment we wake up to the second we walk through the door after a long shift, these loyal companions are there with unconditional love and wagging tails. 💙
