Sandusky County Dog Kennel -We post our available dogs with a specific date and time that they become available. You must be present to be considered for adoption.

-Adoption fee is $200, which includes the spay/neuter, 5 in 1 vaccine, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, deworming, current on HW/flea/tickk prevention, microchipped and current year license. If there is more than one person here at the initial adoption time, we will hold a drawing to determine who adopts the dog. Everyone will be educated on the breed characteristics and the individual characteristics of the dog prior to adopting. PETFINDER WEBPAGE:

ADOPTION FEE *(Effective 01-01-2026) is $200 and includes the spay or neuter, Microchip, 1 year Rabies Vaccine, 5 in 1 vaccine, heartworm test, deworming, current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention and the current years Dog License.

ADOPTION PROCESS: If more than one person is here for the same dog at the time the dog becomes available, a drawing will be held to decide the adopter. At the time of the drawing, we will draw a second ticket, in case it would not work out with the first person. If the dog is not adopted directly at the time it becomes available, then the first person here would be able to adopt the dog.

HOURS: Office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Dog viewing hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm. We are closed Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
