Thank you Jennifer Worrell and the fantastic team at Trumansburg Fairgrounds. Today was their Mini and Pony show..The morning was all in hand classes with driving in the afternoon. Everyone was so welcoming. We all had so much fun. This particular format is offered June August and September. It was a wonderful opportunity to give some of our littles that dont usually go offsite the chance to trailer, groom, practice patience at the trailer, experience a new place and welll...strut their stuff a little! Each participant recieved a lead rope and warm welcome and left with fun memories and a genuine invitation back.
Another opportunity Jen and her team created is each of the riding shows have "grounded" classes. Most of the ridden classes have a grounded division. Its a great way for a horse that isn't being ridden to experience new things or prepare a horse for busier environments. It is also such a gift for people who cant ride but want to still enjoy the camaraderie and fun.
It was a really nice morning meeting a team that has put a great deal of thought and heart into keeping people and horses active in the community. Thank you!!
