🎉 Happy Vet Tech Week to Deanna! 🐾💙

Deanna is the heart of Dr. Cheeseman’s team, and her teammates had so much to say about her. Dr. Cheeseman says she can’t survive a day without Deanna. Deanna takes care of countless details, always has a smile for everyone, and makes the whole team better.

Across VAYD, people describe Deanna as kind, compassionate, patient, and endlessly helpful. When a client concern comes up, she’s the first to jump in, often offering to call the client herself. Her care for our patients and their families shows in everything she does, and her positivity lifts everyone around her.

We’re also so excited to see her step into a new leadership role, where the great example she already sets will make an even bigger impact on the team.

🎉 Happy Vet Tech Week to Lindsey! 🐾💙

Lindsey is a woman of many hats, and she wears them all so well! She has been juggling her CL responsibilities while also stepping in as Dr. Greenlaw’s tech, driving back and forth every day to do it. Juggling both roles is no small feat, and her teammates are so impressed by how well she has handled it. Her flexibility and willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed mean so much to the whole team.

Lindsey has helped her coworkers in more ways than they can count, and she’s always generous with her kindness, her support, and all the knowledge she shares. Our clients love her, and it’s easy to see why. She has such a big heart and puts so much care into everything she does, and she goes above and beyond every single day.

🎉 Happy Vet Tech Week to Hailey! 🐾💙

Dr. Messina describes Hailey as “sunshine impersonated,” and it’s easy to see why. She makes everyone around her happy, and Dr. Messina says she couldn’t ask for a better technician to spend her days with: smart, compassionate, loving, and incredibly skilled.

Hailey keeps our mail-order office running, and she’s just as ready to step out into the field whenever she’s needed. Whether she’s getting medications out as quickly as possible or making sure a pet’s ashes are ready for their family to pick up, she handles it all with kindness and care. Her adaptability, her willingness to work with different doctors, and her great communication with clients make her a true asset to the whole team, and her organization and hard work behind the scenes keep things moving every day.

🎉 Happy Vet Tech Week to Dru! 🐾💙

Veterinary medicine can be a tough field, and Dru is the kind of person who makes the hardest days feel a little lighter. Dr. Lloyd says it best: “Whether we’re running behind, having a particularly emotional day, or I’m beating myself up over forgetting something at a client’s house (oops!), Dru is always there with a smile, a laugh, and a little encouragement.”

Dru has been by Dr. Lloyd’s side through every stage of their veterinary career, all the way back to when Dr. Lloyd was a brand-new baby vet and Dru was helping perfect those blood-draw skills. Dr. Lloyd calls her “such a bright light and one of those people who just makes everyone around her better.” She also drives them to every appointment so Dr. Lloyd can live their best passenger princess life, a perk that comes with a daily coffee, happily.

Even though she’s newer to our VAYD family, Dru is already making a difference. Clients are saying wonderful things, and her teammates love how kind, approachable, and easygoing she is. She manages so much independently behind the scenes, and her care for clients and their pets never goes unnoticed.

🎉 Happy Vet Tech Week to Meredith! 🐾💙

Meredith may be new to our VAYD family, but in just a few months she has already shown what a knowledgeable, caring tech she is. Dr. Messina describes her as amazingly thoughtful and compassionate, from her kind handling of patients to her empathy for clients. She is always prepared and brings incredible knowledge and skill to every appointment, and Dr. Messina says our clients and pets are so lucky to have her caring for their furry loved ones.

Her teammates love working with her too. They describe Meredith as easygoing, kind, flexible, and always willing to jump in to help a patient or client. Whenever someone comes to her with a question, she is helpful and supportive, and it makes a real difference knowing she’s there. We often hear that clients love the care and attention she gives their pets, and her hard work and dedication never go unnoticed.
