Back in the day, when Bee used to snuggle with Charlie,
I just assumed they loved each other. It took a couple more years to find out she was low in thyroid, which made her cold!

When I get a dog to eat out of my hand, I often say, "I've got him now!" What I mean is, when a dog will take reinforcement from me, I can manipulate their behaviors. When we control reinforcement, we can control the behavior simply by controlling how we identify and cue reinforcement opportunities, where we place reinforcement, how we can manipulate where and when and how the animal consumes the reinforcement, and how we can vary reinforcement to maintain the dog's interest, keep them hungry for our reinforcement.

So when I see p**n going out into the world, knowing that sexual gratification is a powerful reinforcer of human behaviors, I know that people are being trained and manipulated.
