Please help us welcome Dr. Brandon Durand to the CareVet of Freeport Team! 🎉🎉

Dr. Brandon Durand grew up in southern Maine where he lived on a small hobby farm with his mother. This is when he first discovered his love for animals and a passion to care for them. He went on to get his undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of Maine. During this time he worked at the school dairy farm and local animal shelter. He next moved out west to Colorado where he obtained a Masters Degree in Toxicology and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University. After graduation he practiced medicine in Colorado for a few years before moving back to Maine. He enjoys soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and orthopedics. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, camping, woodworking, fitness and hanging out with his wife and son. He has 2 dogs, 1 cat, many chickens and hopes to have cows someday!
