Earth Hour is typically the last Saturday in March. The movement encourages individuals, communities, and businesses to reduce or not use electric devices, generally in the evening, for one hour.

Earth Day celebrates the Earth, learning about the environment, and promoting conservation. What better way than to continue with the energy conservation practices from Earth Hour.

In search of other ways to observe Earth Day? This years theme is “Invest In Our Planet”, a shift to sustainability. Let show you how to switch to sustainable gardening practices. Plant a rain garden, gift a food producing plant, install a compost system. There are so many ways we can be sustainable in our gardens. Peruse our posts for sustainable tips and tricks. Call us for an Edible Landscape Styling consult.

Go save our Earth today! 🌍

Micro greens are a powerful superfood that can be grown anywhere. These powerhouses are easy to grow but very versatile addition for meals, desserts and drinks. Compared to other plants, they provide instant gratification because they are ready for harvest in under three weeks. Some varieties can be ready in 10 - 14 days. They are quick, easy and nutritionally dense, the perfect first crop for beginners. Start with one tray and expand from there.
