They say bad things happen in 3's but I think we're well beyond that! Was hoping this week would be smooth sailing finally, but nope! We are without electricity and there are down power lines all around town so I'm not sure we'll get it back on very quickly.
I should've probably did our nightly pen clean ups earlier with some daylight left outside but instead I had to get a down tree along with 2 other huge limbs off my fencing and without the help of my tractor since that decided to brake down yesterday in the middle of my yard nonetheless lol but the trees had to be moved cause I couldn't risk the goats and horses escaping for a stroll through town with fences being smashed down! I'm extremely thankful that my stove downstairs is gas so that I can boil water to sanitize our floors in the puppy pens and still heat up and prepare puppy mush!
In 7 years I don't believe I have ever lost power here besides one time and that was due to my dad cutting a tree down gone wrong lol opps 😅 but boy does it suck when it happens while you have 3 litters of babies! We shall survive and thrive through this craziness lol I will say I don't think I'll forget these litters easily 🤣!
To cry or laugh through it? I think I'll choose the second cause life is too short not to! At least the chaos is filled with puppy snuggles and unlimited kisses plus don't forget about that puppy breath smell!
