Our friend Biscuit has been up to no good 😂

This little trash panda decided to do some dumpster diving at home, and lo and behold… there were GRAPES in the trash. 🍇😳

Unfortunately for Biscuit, grapes and dogs are a BIG no-no because they can potentially cause serious kidney problems.

So instead of enjoying the spoils of his trash-can treasure hunt, Biscuit earned himself a trip to PetMedic. 🏥

Feel better soon, Biscuit! And maybe stay out of the trash this time. 😉🐾

🦝💉 A pretty cool article!!!!

Did you know Maine is helping vaccinate wildlife against rabies… without ever having to catch them?
Nearly 599,000 oral rabies vaccine baits were distributed across Northern Maine this August. The vaccine is hidden inside small, fishmeal-coated baits that wildlife like raccoons can find and eat.
By helping prevent rabies in wildlife, these programs also help protect our pets and our communities.
Science is pretty amazing. 🧬🐾

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Wildlife Services has reportedly distributed nearly 599,000 oral rabies vaccine (ORV) baits across Aroostook County following detections of rabid raccoons in the area.

We had a very special visitor today: Falcor! 🐾

And the second he sat down and looked at us with that sweet face, we couldn’t unsee it…

THE RESEMBLANCE IS UNCANNY. 😂

White fluffy fur? ✅
Big soulful eyes? ✅
Adorable face? ✅
Looks like he could fly us across Fantasia at any moment? Absolutely. ✅

We’re still technically calling him a Golden Retriever, but we’re about 87% sure a Luckdragon just walked into PetMedic. 😂

Thankfully, this Falcor didn’t need to save Fantasia today. He just needed a visit with us and, naturally, plenty of attention for being ridiculously handsome.

Falcor: 12/10 good boy. 14/10 Luckdragon. 🐉🐾

Sweet little Biscuit came to see us after accidentally eating ONE grape 🍇 that a little person shared with her.

While one tiny grape may not seem like a big deal, grapes and raisins can be toxic to dogs, even in small amounts, and there is no reliably safe amount.

Thankfully, Biscuit’s family acted quickly! With guidance from the Pet Poison Helpline and care from our doctors here at PetMedic, Biscuit will need some supportive care, but she is expected to be just fine! 🐾💕

This little lady is also an excellent reminder that accidents happen, especially when tiny humans and tiny dogs team up.
