PUPDATE: Two years ago today, our Graham went from Shore Saves rescue pup to official family member when one of our own beloved volunteers adopted him.

And what a perfect match it has been. 🥹

His mom shared:

“Two years ago, I adopted Graham, never knowing how completely he would become a part of our family. ❤️

He has brought so much love, joy, and happiness into our lives. Luna absolutely loves him, and I can’t imagine our family without him now.

Two years ago, I thought I was adopting a dog… but I was really gaining a family member. 🐶❤️

There is something extra special about watching one of our volunteers fall in love with a rescue dog and realize that the dog they came to help… was actually the one who was meant to come home with them.

Teeny tiny Clark is a 30-pound pit mix with the sweetest soul. After spending far too long in a crate, this handsome boy is finally getting the chance to learn what it means to be loved and feel safe.

Clark absolutely loves people and is happiest when he’s getting attention and affection. He also loves other dogs! He can be a little unsure of himself at first, which is completely understandable given his past, but once he realizes he’s safe, his sweet personality starts to shine.

We think Clark would really benefit from having another confident, friendly dog in his forever home. A canine companion could help him build his confidence and show him the ropes as he adjusts to his new life.

Clark is looking for someone who will give him a little patience while he settles in and help him discover just how wonderful being a dog can be. In return, you’ll get a gentle, loving, goofy boy who is so ready for his person.

Bear is a 36-pound, approximately 1-year-old Pug/Boxer/Beagle mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart!

This handsome guy would love nothing more than a doggy sibling to play with, wrestle with, and get into all kinds of fun with. He’s also a total people-lover and is happiest when he’s surrounded by his favorite humans and four-legged friends.

Bear previously lived successfully with cats, too, so he’s got plenty of experience being part of a busy household.

At around a year old, Bear is still a young guy with plenty of energy, curiosity, and goofy puppy-like charm. He’s looking for a family ready to give him the exercise, playtime, love, and structure he needs to keep growing into the best boy he can be.

Harley came to us after being surrendered to our Friends of Northern Ocean County Animal Facility in Jackson, NJ. Thanks to the incredible volunteers who helped her along the way, Harley got her second chance - and she is making the absolute most of it!

Just look at this girl learning how to swim! 🏊‍♀️🐶 From shelter pup to summertime swimmer, Harley is surrounded by a big, loving family, including a cat sibling, and finally getting all the love and happiness she deserves. 🥹❤️

A huge THANK YOU to every volunteer who played a part in Harley’s journey and to her forever family for opening their hearts and home to this sweet girl. We couldn’t ask for a happier ending! 🌞💕
