Jersey Jill's Dog Grooming Salon

Jersey Jill's Dog Grooming Salon Jersey Jill's is a premier dog grooming and retail salon returning to Freehold! It gave me great pleasure seeing all of
my makeovers. I am
so thrilled.

My name is Jill and my best friend, Jersey, my
Lhasa Apso and I reopened Jersey Jill's in 2021. I am the Owner and Master
Groomer of Jersey Jill’s and have been a dog lover
and owner my entire life. My experience in dog grooming goes back to high
school, where I worked as a bather at a local salon. I was also grooming my Lhasa Apsos and West
Highland White Terriers for several years before
deci

ding to go to school for professional dog
grooming. I completed dog grooming school in a personal
salon, which gave me great hands-on experience
and couldn’t wait to open my own store, which I
did in 2010. After six years in the industry and a few change of
life events, I moved to north Jersey and returned
to life as a Registered Nurse. My background is in
Trauma/Emergency Medicine as well as experience
in corporate arenas. I am also certified in Pet CPR/
Heimlich Maneuver/First Aid. After a few years,
I realized how much I missed and loved all of my
dogs, customers, and my true passion, so I decided
to re-open my salon and return to what I love. My sweet Jersey has since passed at the age of 16 years and 3 months and I have opened my heart to my new baby, Brinkley, also a Lhasa Apso. Both loved beyond measure. WHAT MAKES JERSEY JILL"S

🤍 Blanca needs help now. 🤍

She's only 1 year old, she's under 50 pounds, and she's absolutely overwhelmed.

Blanca came to us as a stray, and it hasn't taken long to see that shelter life is hitting her hard. This poor girl is so confused about how she ended up here. The noise, the kennels, the constant activity, it's all just too much right now.

The truth is, we don't think we've met the real Blanca yet.

We believe there's a sweet, happy young dog hiding underneath all of this stress, but she needs a chance to decompress somewhere safe before she can show us who she really is.

🚨 Blanca is in urgent need of a foster, rescue, or adopter.

She doesn't need perfection. She just needs someone willing to give her a chance.

Please help us find Blanca a soft place to land before shelter stress takes an even greater toll. ❤️🐾 Meet her today at 2960 Shafto Rd, Tinton Falls, NJ

ChinChin is back and still searching for her perfect match. 💕

This young girl was adopted about six months ago, but sometimes an adoption just isn't the right fit and that's okay. We don't think ChinChin found her soulmate yet.

This adorable little fluffball, possibly a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, hasn't let her return to the shelter dampen her spirits. While her previous adopters reported that she didn't like other dogs or men, we've seen a different side of her here. She's been largely indifferent to other dogs and is happily cared for by our male kennel staff.

Every dog is an individual, and sometimes the right environment makes all the difference. ChinChin's perfect person is still out there, we just haven't found them yet. Meet her today in Tinton Falls, NJ!

🐰🦆🦝 It's baby season, and we need the public's help! 🦝🦆🐰
Please stop picking up baby wildlife.

Every year, well-meaning people find baby rabbits, birds, squirrels, and other wildlife, bring them inside, attempt to feed them, and then call animal control. In most cases, these babies are not orphaned.

Wildlife moms often leave their babies alone while they search for food. A rabbit nest in your yard, babies under your deck, or a young bird on the ground does not automatically mean they need help.

Before intervening, ask yourself:
✔ Is the animal visibly injured?
✔ Is there blood, a broken limb, or flies present?
✔ Has the mother been confirmed deceased?
If not, the baby likely needs to stay right where it is.

We know they're adorable and you want to help, but every year, healthy babies are accidentally orphaned because someone assumed they were abandoned.

NOTICE…

We continue to have ongoing issues with clients not showing up for their scheduled appointments or arriving very early or late. Today alone, we had five no-shows and several people arriving early. We are limited on space so this quickly becomes an issue.

As a reminder, we are currently booking approximately 6 weeks out. If you cannot commit to your scheduled appointment time, we will unfortunately not be able to get you back in until the next available opening, which is typically around that 6-week timeframe.

These no-shows and last-minute schedule changes affect not only our current scheduled customers, but also our staff and the business financially. Arriving 15–30 minutes early/late for appointments has also created a significant amount of unnecessary stress on our schedule and team.

We kindly ask that you allow the allotted time needed for us to groom your dogs safely, properly, and humanely. Please do not arrive at your appointment and tell us you are on a time crunch or need your dog completed within a certain timeframe. We ask for approximately 3–4 hours for grooming services, and we cannot rush through the process while still providing the quality care your pets deserve.

We truly appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and continued support of our small business.
