🌱Join us for another weekly community gathering today!
🌱There's so many options to find at the Farmer's Market in our small town:
- Truly Fresh Harvested produce
- Small scale Humanely raised meats (not factory farmed)
- Artisan foods and prepared meals
- The Freshest baked goods and breads
- Small scale produced Local Raw Honey and Maple products
- Natural healing Apothecary items like salves and balms
- Handmade goods such as jewelry and clothing
- The list goes on and on!
🌱 We'll be downtown from 9am to 1pm with a host of other wonderful vendors joining us to make this weekly community event something special.

🌱Another great CSA distribution yesterday and our 3rd pick up of the season.
🌱A huge Thank You to all of our Members who continue to show up in support week after week!
🌱This week's shares included:
* Single Share:
- Strawberries
- Asparagus
- Spring Mix

- Green Leaf Lettuce
- Curly Kale

🌱The Season is just getting started and we've barely scratched the surface on the variety that is to be offered!
🌱Before long we will be getting heavily into our root crops and not too long after that we will be harvesting our long season fruiting vegetables such as Heirloom Tomatoes and Sweet Peppers.

🌱A little walk through our tunnels!
🌱Heirloom tomatoes, Sweet Peppers, Eggplants, Cucumbers, Beets and Lettuces.
🌱As the season progresses we will continue to replant quick turnover crops likes beets and lettuce as intercropping/partner plants, making the most of this limited space we have in the tunnels.
🌱Now just to tend to them all!
🌱Trellising, tying, trimming, pruning, directing, weeding, watering, mulching and last but certainly not least Harvesting!

🌱Lots of summer crops getting planted into their forever homes!
🌱Sweet Peppers(Bell and Italian), more Heirloom Tomatoes and Slicing Cucumbers!
🌱All three of our high tunnels are now planted and ready to bring abundance to the community in the next several months.
🌱The last crops to be planted out in the field for summer production will be Cherry Tomatoes, Zucchini, Broccoli and Hot Peppers!
🌱Follow along to watch these plants become huge trees full of annual fruit and sustenance.

🌱We Farmers know how to have a good time...
🌱If we're not outstanding in our field during a rain storm, you can likely find us huddled underneath a pop up tent at a farmers market....
🌱That being said, we will still be vending today from 9am - 1pm in Fredonia downtown in the park, rain or shine!
🌱Jamestown Farmers Market will be indoors for the last time this weekend, before we move to our new outdoor location on June 6th.
🌱You can find us at St. Luke's on Main Street in Jamestown from 9am to 1pm.
🌱We all need to eat on a daily basis, why not nourish your body this week with fresh healthy produce harvested within hours of you receiving it?
🌱Pictured is our newly planted Cucumber Seedlings that just hit the ground running yesterday!
🌱Won't be long before they are 7ft tall, incredibly unruly and producing thousands of sweet, crisp, hydrating, delicious cucs for you all to enjoy 🥒🥒🥒

🌱Single and Family Shares this week for our CSA Members.
🌱It was another great week of friendly faces, crisp fresh produce and excitement!
🌱This was our Second Distribution of the season which included:
- Single Share: Asparagus, Hakurei Salad Turnips, Mixed Radishes, Red Leaf Lettuce, Green Romaine, Rainbow Swisschard and Kale.
- Family Share: Strawberries, Asparagus(×2), Hakurei Salad Turnips, Mixed Radishes(×2), Bok Choy, Red Leaf Lettuce, Green Romaine, Rainbow Swisschard and Kale.
🌱This is just the beginning! There is so much diversity and abundance coming this season.

🌱New High Tunnel is up and ready for planting!
🌱This tunnel came from a very generous grant from the Jamestown Farmers Market which was specifically for vendors/farmers to purchase equipment and infrastructure for their businesses.
🌱So a HUGE thank you to everyone at JTFM especially Jamestown's market manager Nick for making these grants possible.
🌱This growing season we will be FILLING this tunnel with sweet peppers and heirloom tomatoes!
🌱Measuring in at 96ft × 20ft, we will roughly be able to pack in 300 - 400 pepper plants and 50 or so tomato plants.
🌱This tunnel also opens up the potential for our farm to better serve our community during the winter months. With the right timing and planning it should be full of winter greens and root crops to offer our local communities through the coldest parts of the season.
🌱As most of these infrastructure projects go it took us quite a while to finish, working on it in our spare time in-between tending to the other plants/growing spaces.
🌱We were able to finish it up and get the plastic on this past Sunday thanks to the help of a crew of good friends who came over for a productive work party for Farmer Wendell's birthday (see final picture).

We’re looking for someone to join the Farm & Grounds Crew!

This is a hands-on, outdoors role helping care for the land, assist with animals, maintain grounds, operate equipment, and support the many aspects that keep the farm, festivals, and events running smoothly.

🌱First CSA distribution of the 2026 Season is in the books!
🌱A HUGE thank you to all of our new and returning members who have joined us in our harvests this season, what a wonderful thing it is to build community around fresh healthy food.
🌱This was the first of 25 weeks of pick ups this growing season.
🌱We are currently hovering close to 120 members, but will continue to offer new memberships if anyone is interested in joining still!
