Sterling Acres is located on acres land surrounded by DNR forest near Random Lake, WI. We offer Hybrid Stall Board with continuous access to hay via slow feeders in dry lots and rotated pasture in warmer months with grain fed 2X per day in assigned stalls with the option to feed soaked grain. Stalls available for overnight in negative temps or if medical need arises. We believe that continuous tur

nout is best for the minds, gut, joints and hooves. Front Barn is attached to the 66x100 Indoor sand Arena with a large mixed herd turnout (up to 12) in a dry lot with multiple feeders and shelters and our Back Barn, closer to the Outdoor arenas (100x200 sand and 66x120 grass) has small mixed herd turnout (up to 5) each with a shelter and multiple slow feed stations. We have a mile long bridle trail around the property plus we are 12 mins from the Kettle Moraine trailheads! Plus Farrier, Magnawave, Chiropractor and Vet that come on a regular scheduled basis. Outdoor wash stalls at both barns with access to hot water if needed! Trainer onsite or bring your own! All disciplines welcome. Updates occurring every year!

WE MADE IT TO SPRING! 🌸

Although in WI it’s doesn’t quite look that way after our last snowfall but I’m taking it.

🌼We are here, standing in mud, slightly feral from fixing frozen things over the past few months but upright, thankful for the sunshine and a blanket free day!

🌼 Mud season I know you are here to try to pull my boots off, splash on my clean overalls(why do I even wash them?!) and potentially face plant me into your disgusting contents BUT 50 degrees and sun makes me believe that days of green lush pastures are on the way!

To all my barn besties out there feeling the winter blues- YOU MADE IT! Happy first day of spring! 🌸

This trio are OG Sterling Acres boarders and have been with us from the beginning but we finally have a picture to celebrate them! Becca Boehlke I absolutely LOVE our friendship story from the first day we met at the back barn and the craziness to follow as you became part of the Farm Family. I couldn’t imagine the farm without you, Roxy and Slugger. Cheers to many more adventures!

When you have a team that appreciates the work as much as they love the horses, you know the care they are giving and job they are doing is top notch. We are SO freaking blessed to have the rockstars we do on staff caring for the horses every day. We would be lost without them. THANK YOU to our team and all the people out there doing barn chores for someone else. It’s a Labor of love and we can’t thank you enough.
