a dog's promise
i am your pet, cherished, you bet
from the very first moment, we met

you are my master, tried and true
my job in life is to always, please you

i wander aimlessly alone
when you're gone, so long, on your own

forgive me, if i chew your shoe
i was nervous and i missed you

if i snack some food from the trash
it smelled so good, how could i pass

bark, bark, bark, i cry out alarm
the mailman has come here to harm

when you get home, i'm so happy
wagging my tail with my whole body

when we go for a walk together
if a cat threatens, away i chase her

don't be upset with me, please sir
i promise to protect you from all danger

i greet other dogs, on our way
smelling their butts to just say, hey

i lift my leg marking my place
to find my way back, just in case

i'm not too crazy about the rain
but i'll keep you company and not complain

laying belly up is a sign
scratch me, rub me and i'll be fine

if I lick my area, because i can
please don't be jealous of me, man

sleeping here, my chin on your foot
obediently, my faith in you, i put

though my purpose, i may reach in a flash
compared to your life, my longevity won't last

my loyalty to you, will never sever
unconditionally, i love you, forever

FAQ
The difference between training and behavior adjustment:
Dog training is usually based obedience training, which should start before six months of age, but can be utilized up till two or three years old.
Obedience training can be taught to any dog but from my experience the older the dog gets the longer it takes to make adjustments because of his or her prior habits and surroundings.

When people call and ask a question, can you train my dog, you must first ask your self what do you mean by that? What exactly do you mean by train your dog? Specific request requires specific tactics, you cannot just train a dog to be a perfect dog in all areas.

First ask yourself what can be done to make you and your companion's relationship a better bond.

If there is a couple specific behavioral issues, then that's what we should be looking at first.

Do you not expect to give your dog to a trainer and have him returned a perfect dog without dedicating the time to train your self ?
no human is perfect, and no dog is perfect.

Many behavioral issues are sometimes not just the product of the dog itself, it is the product of its environment, and triggers.

And sometimes the human does not look at one's self that they possess no fault at all, it takes consistency to get a dog to obey and act accordingly, which means 50% of the time or more it's the actual human that needs to be trained more than the dog.

This is where I come in, that's why most of the time in behavioral issues I need specifics, and I need to study the dog in his own environment, I will ask many questions during my visit, and sometimes things can be as easy as recognizing certain characteristics between the dog and human, and I can offer you incredible assistance in helping you correct surrounding issues, and helping you continue to train and adjust your dog.

Please keep in mind it is not always the dogs fault, sometimes humans themselves do not realize the simple mistakes that they are making that can confuse the dog at times, I can help with both of you become best friends. 😊
