** TRAINING PRICE INCREASE **

As much as we wish we could keep our pricing the same forever, in order to continue providing quality training, individualized support, and the time each dog truly deserves, we will be making a small adjustment to our training prices.

Dog training is constantly evolving, and we are committed to continuing our education, improving our equipment, and investing time into every client and dog that comes through our program. From working through basic obedience to behavioral challenges and confidence building, every session is designed to give owners real results and long-term success.

This price increase helps us continue offering professional, personalized training while maintaining the level of care, patience, and dedication that we pride ourselves on.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who has trusted Controlled Chaos K9 Training with their dogs, and we look forward to continuing to help dogs and owners build stronger relationships together.

Thank you for your continued support, trust, and understanding.

*If you have already scheduled and/or paid for your session we will honor the original pricing*

Dogs and cats don’t always have to be rivals 🐶🐱
With patience, proper introductions, and positive training, they can become best friends — playing together, cuddling together, and growing up side by side.

Every calm interaction builds trust, and every shared moment helps create a bond that lasts a lifetime. ❤️

Different species. Different personalities. Same family. 🐾

We’re teaching the dog that paying attention to us is the most rewarding choice, even when exciting distractions are around. The training works in small steps:

1. Build focus first in a calm environment
We start somewhere quiet with very few distractions. Each time the dog looks at us, checks in, responds to their name, or follows a cue, they immediately get rewarded with treats, praise, or play.

2. Teach that attention earns rewards
The dog learns:
“If I focus on my person, good things happen.”
That creates a strong habit of checking in with us instead of automatically reacting to the environment.

3. Introduce distractions gradually
Once the dog can focus reliably in a calm space, we slowly add mild distractions—people at a distance, another dog far away, noises, movement, etc. We keep the distraction far enough away that the dog can still succeed.

4. Reward calm choices around distractions
When the dog notices a distraction but chooses to stay engaged with us, we reward heavily. We want the dog to learn that ignoring distractions is more valuable than reacting to them.

5. Increase difficulty over time
As the dog improves, we slowly work closer to distractions or in busier environments. This builds self-control without overwhelming the dog.

6. Redirect instead of punish
If the dog loses focus, we calmly redirect them back to us rather than punishing them. The goal is to make focusing feel safe, rewarding, and automatic.

Over time, the dog develops a strong habit of checking in with the handler first, staying calmer in stimulating environments, and ignoring distractions because engagement with us consistently pays off.

Meet Braxton 🐾

Braxton has joined us for some foundational training, and we’re excited to start working with him!

We’ll be focusing on building strong leash manners, reducing jumping behaviors, and helping him learn how to manage his excitement. With a new little sibling on the way, these skills will be especially important in creating a calm, safe, and structured environment at home.

Braxton is a great dog with a lot of personality, and we’re looking forward to helping him channel that energy in the right direction.

Stay tuned for his progress! 🐕‍🦺💙

Let’s be honest—who is truly in control?

This has been an ongoing area of growth for us while working with Chaos. He is an exceptionally intelligent and strong-willed dog, often testing boundaries with a level of determination that requires consistency, patience, and structure.

At 100 pounds of solid muscle, Chaos is every bit a working dog—driven, focused, and equipped with remarkable intelligence and heart.

In the early stages, our training journey was challenging. We encountered frequent resistance and moments of frustration, but we remained committed because we recognized his potential.

🔅 Chaos is now a certified live find wilderness K9. 🔅

Early on, Chaos preferred to operate on his own terms and often attempted to take the lead. Through consistent training, clear expectations, and teamwork, we established the structure needed for success. While we are proud of the progress made, we recognize that growth is ongoing, and there is always room for continued improvement.

This is our why.

I know many others struggle with the same issue, and we are here to help you through it because you can control chaos. 💙
