Anoki's 4th farrier trimming was a success! He stood beautifully for our farrier, all calm during his appointment.

We are supper proud of both our student and Phillip. Yesterday was the first time both had ever been to an obstacle course and they both did amazing! Its always amazing to see how far our stedents come and communicate with their horses.

Anoki is coming along with trusting and learning how to be a gentleman for the farrier.

We always want the experience to be safe for both horse and farrier so we train how we expect they should behave before the farrier touches them. This is also so anyone who handles his feet is safe.

She's officially named! No longer #5087.

Meet Mika! It is Ponca/Omaha for "wise raccon". She who loves her butt scratches and is curious, smart and friendly, it fits her well as she is also a little mischievous and playful.

Phillip is now on stall rest till we get his hoof heeled from a bad case of thrush or a canker. We're still trying to determine which it is so one of the runs has been turned into rest stall.

We also have our amazing working student learning all the work that goes into treating the hoof.

Someone is going to be loving our water crossing days! She just keeps playing in the puddles and wven stands when getting hosed down!
