This is a Trademark dog, don’t you think? ❤️

There is something incredibly special as a breeder about seeing a dog you produced out there doing what the German Shepherd Dog was originally bred to do — work.

Gwen and Katie have been putting in countless hours together, and watching Gwen work sheep with confidence, instinct and purpose makes this breeder heart awfully proud.

A huge congratulations to Katie Degen and Gwen on achieving their Bronze PAM — Performance Award of Merit — at the 2026 German Shepherd Dog Club of America National Specialty! 🏆

Performance titles don’t just happen. They represent training sessions when things go beautifully, sessions when absolutely nothing goes according to plan, miles traveled, early mornings, patience, persistence, and a whole lot of teamwork between dog and handler.

As Gwen’s breeder, there really aren’t many greater compliments than watching her prove that she is more than a pretty face. She has the brains, temperament, versatility and working ability that a German Shepherd should have — and Katie has given her every opportunity to show it.

What an honor it is to have bred her.

Well… this little Hunka Wunka has unexpectedly become available! 🐾

Through absolutely no fault of his own, this handsome 8-week-old boy is now looking for the perfect place to call home. 💜

He’s got the whole package — wonderful pedigree, beautiful looks, and the sweetest temperament to go along with it. He’s a happy, affectionate little guy with a personality that makes him pretty hard not to fall for. 🥰

Okay I don’t normally post things like this. But I HAVE to share this. What a story this is going to be. I will be sure to have tissues available. My heart is wrenching thinking back of my most precious memories of my beloved German shepherds. When you give all to your dog what they give back to us is a bond that is unexplainable. I foresee this movie showing a glimpse of that bond, told in a relatable way for us all to grasp. ❤️🥹

Miss Miley is also practicing some of her conformation training. She is maturing into a beautiful representation of a well bred GSD. We plan to hit the shows again in October with her. She has some BIG shoes to fill following in both her parent’s footsteps, GCHS Meg and GCHB Luc.

We are thrilled to work with Ripley, a Limu and Jazz baby, this week and practicing show stuff as well as socializing. She is the epitome of a well balanced GSD pup at 3 months old. Beauty and brains! Great job goes to her young new owner Alyssa for pushing to socialize her, love her, and reach out for mentorship. I am a very proud breeder and mentor.
