While we didn’t catch the fog, our head Paw did catch Covid-19, proving that even a fully vaccinated human can still get sick, but we are so thankful he was vaccinated because it could’ve been so much worse, as the evidence has shown. So as we keep our humor alive with this homage to Dad Jokes, we must announce that we will remain CLOSED until symptoms are gone and a negative test can be had. Hopeful it will be sometime next week! In the meantime have a safe and wonderful New Year’s celebration, and hopefully we’ll see you soon!

All of us here at PITC would like to thank all the Veterans today, and everyday really, 2 and 4 legs alike, for answering the call of service to our Country. So if you see a Veteran today, give them a big lick! Or maybe, just settle for a pawshake. They’d probably appreciate that more.

Hey Paws! We brought in some great new products for you recently, like additions to our treat bar such as bison marrow bones from Colorado, in addition to restocks of our best sellers, such as THE BEST USA made odorless bully sticks available anywhere! We also have hand knit sweaters back in stock (limited sizes due to supply issues), a fantastic new leash made from excess fabrics from a women’s clothing company, and, of course, Eli the Cat got a hold of some new catnip toys, including our new fav; a hand knit, locally made, organic catnip filled toy in the shape of pumpkins! So come on in and see what’s new, give Eli a pat and enjoy the Fall like we’re supposed to, by spoiling our pups!

His ramblings are his only, and do not reflect the thoughts and views of the hoom...sorry, humans, at Paws In The City whatsoever. In his defense, however, the catnip toys he purchased are awesome! Hello hoomans. Eli the Cat, here. My “owners” don’t know I’m online again. They also wont know I ordered catnip toys and play things just for cats. Well, they will when the bill comes🤣🤣
So if you have cats (you should if you’re willing to have flea bag dogs in your house) you should come and get something for them here. I picked these out personally so you know they’re legit 🐈 🐈‍⬛

Stop by here on your way and pick up a Bowser Beer or a bottle of Fetch Me Noir or Grigio from PetWinery so your human doesn't drink alone. Can't relax that long for them? Pick up an antler or Frederick's best Bully Stick to chew on and keep you occupied while they relax after a long week of work.

Good Morning Paws! Announcing a change of hours for the Fall beginning today. This is due to a few things, one of which is our desire to be involved in our 2-legged kids’ lives, another being the inability to find a RELIABLE person to work shifts on weekends. So we’re going ‘chick-fil-a’ our days. Moving forward, here are the hours for the Fall/Winter seasons.

Sunday-Monday: Closed
Tuesday-Friday: 11:00ish - 5:30ish
Saturday: 11:00-6:00ish

As always, because we live in downtown Frederick, if you absolutely have an emergency need for something, you can message us here and we could probably work something out to open up shop and meet you if we’re available. This will probably be more pertinent for when we bring food back to our inventory later this year, but know it’s an option for emergency gear needs also. Please understand, we love serving your pup’s needs, but we also see our children getting older and we’re not willing to miss their lives anymore.
