Last nights weather was just perfection on the farm. These cooler evenings really are a special treat after this hot hot summer.
Jessie Clicks Seniors sent me this beautiful sneak peek of the senior pictures she shot last night. Wowzers! Photographers have a way of making the farm look like a wonderland! It helps too that the model is so beautiful!

Ps. Coming from South Africa, the first time a photographer ever asked to shoot a senior on my farm, I expected an octogenarian, like a sweet old lady that wanted her pictures taken professionally with a chicken before she kicked the bucket. Lol.😂 imagine my surprise when a sweet young lady arrived in full glam. 😆💛🌸

Amanda and Sam, you are both pure light and joy on your own. Together, your love is a radiant force that brings sunshine to everyone around you!

We were honored to be able to create flowers for these two awesome humans. It was a hot day, over 100°, but their community and culture they surround themselves with were so uplifting it made the temps feel like a cool 76°.

May you two never loose the warmth you bring to the world. The love you have for each other. And the kindness that makes everyone feel seen.

Mama refresh retreat for back to school.

This is Della, she has been our bee mentor for the last 5 years. She walked us step by step how to care for and love on bees, as well as how to harvest honey.

Yesterday when I got back into town, I asked her if she thinks our hives are honey ready, and this morning she was over in crack of dawn collecting frames.

I think we as a community are all extremely thankful to Della for the honey that comes from the farm.

Ps. The Summer camp kids will get to help us spin and sample the honey this week!

The ducks we hatched from egg are doing so well, so is this little cutie chick hatched from one of our own eggs.
But the cutest little one is the one always flew aft for a photo. 💛🤗
