Never forget. 🇺🇸 🐕
25 years ago was a day many of us will never forget and even more now learning about it in history. People will reminisce about where they were and what they were doing when it happened. People will remember the loved ones lost during 9/11 and mourn their passing. Many will recount the hero’s of that day, the first responders, our military, and the dogs of 9/11 that searched through rubble and debris for any survivors. In a time where our nation feels divided, we remember that in times of crisis we are United.

While cleaning their room we caught a sweet moment between our 16 year old man and our 12 week old foster who just came back from getting his vaccines. 🐈‍⬛ ❤️

Update on little Josh our foster kitten!

Today was the day we would see how Josh did getting a bath. We all know how cats are with water and general grooming. They can turn into bouncing fur missiles with thorns in a heart beat! Josh surprised us when he did well with trimming his claws. He was a little wiggly but you try keeping a kitten still 😂.

Then the bath….

He did phenomenal!! He purred the entire time and generally seemed to like it after a minute or two. It is important to make any new experience for a kitten a pleasant one ☝️. It will help shape them as they grow. Touching paws, mouth, ears, and legs can desensitize them. So if they need to go to the vet or just need to check them over, it will be easier on everyone.

Now not every cat is the same and highly depends on their personality and temperament.

Josh is just a groovy man and we hope he never loses his personality. 💜 🐸 🐈

Pontus’s gills have really become vibrant and fluffy! Axolotls often show their health through their gills. He is a spunky guy and would love a home with a friend who can interact with him. If interested please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
