Absolutely a wonderful show!!!

Yesterday was SO much fun! 🥰 For many of our crew, it was the last show of the season—and what an incredible year it has been! 🐴✨

We are beyond proud of our students for their amazing sportsmanship, how much they’ve grown with their horses, and everything they’ve learned along the way. Horses are never just the highs—there are plenty of ups and downs—and everyone handled this season with so much grit, grace, and determination. ❤️

A few of us still have some shows left on the calendar, but most of the crew is officially settling into winter training and getting ready for next year!

Yesterday was a LONG but fantastic day! We started with one of our trainers riding Prue, putting down a 63.889% and 61.515%. Then one of our students scored 69s in her Intro tests aboard a horse that is still relatively new to her! We finished the day with another one of our trainers riding Salty and putting down 73s in Western Dressage! 🤩

Now comes the homework! 📚🐴 We have plenty to work on before the next couple of shows and lots to accomplish through our winter training.

We are SO excited for what next year will bring! Here’s to growth, learning, teamwork, and lots more fun with our horses! 🥂🐎❤️

Very busy weekend here at Full Moon. We hosted a saddle fitting with Schleese Saddlery Service. They were here for 2 full days and a lecture one evening. They will be back so keep an eye out! Sunday was a bitter sweet get together as we say goodbye to our dear friends Madison Van Huisen as she continues her education at Purdue and Asher Record will be attending school in Fort Collins. The barn will definitely be a little quieter with you guys gone.

We had an awesome time at the WDACO June Jubilee this past weekend. We received very valuable feedback from the judge and spent time with old friends and new! Thank you again to our show parents that kept us running smoothly, fed and hydrated! And thank you to our riders, you all showed exemplary dedication and commitment to your horses and embraced the feeling of teamwork the entire weekend! Congratulations guys!

What a wonderful show weekend! We are so proud of our students and everything they accomplished. Every horse show is an opportunity to learn, grow, and build stronger partnerships with our horses, and these girls did exactly that.

It takes patience, love, understanding, and trust to be a rider. Throughout the weekend, our students continued to show up for their horses, giving them the confidence they needed in a new environment while navigating all the distractions—from trains and bugs to storms rolling in.

Riding is about more than ribbons. It’s about feeling, listening, and understanding your horse. After all, they are not only our teammates but also our friends.

What made us especially proud was the exceptional sportsmanship displayed by every one of our riders. They supported one another, encouraged fellow competitors, and represented our barn with kindness and respect.

Congratulations to all of our riders and horses on a fantastic weekend. We couldn’t be prouder of the growth, determination, and horsemanship shown by everyone involved!

❤️
