Terolyn Rescue is in need of some help for their little filly “Jaci”. Jaci is the cutest little nugget that I (Jacqui) was almost tempted to adopt myself! 💕
Jaci’s Journey to Surgery ❤️
Jaci needs your help. She is at Littleton Equine Medical Center, and we’re asking our friends to help us raise the $3500 needed to remove a bone chip in her fetlock. This surgery will give this special girl the chance at a long, comfortable, pain-free life she deserves.
Jaci isn’t just another horse who found her way to our rescue. She was born here. We watched her take her first steps, watched her grow, and loved her every step of the way. We thought we had finally found her forever home, but when circumstances changed, Jaci recently came back to us.
When she returned, we immediately noticed something was wrong. Her front leg had become noticeably crooked from the knee. After having her evaluated, we learned that surgery is her best chance at correcting the problem and giving her a comfortable future.
It’s hard to put into words what it feels like to watch a horse you’ve known since birth need this kind of help. Jaci has already had so much of her life shaped by the people who love her, and now we have the opportunity to make sure her next chapter is a good one.
