Im hoping somebody adopts them (especially Lucky) soon. We are over full with bossy boys but come on....he is 11 and needs a nice soft bed in your air conditioned house.....dontacha think!

Who doesn’t love a ♥️Sweet Senior Dog♥️? And here are three who fit that description perfectly. Their Best Friend is no longer able to care for them, and they are now with the Paw Control of Cherokee Village. These are dogs who have known love, care, and companionship. They need the same thing now. . .though loved by the staff and volunteers, they need a Home, Comfort, and a Soft Place to lay their heads for their final years. They do not need to be adopted together (though wouldn’t that be amazing!!)

FRANKIE, the male Beagle, is 14 years old.
LUCKY, the male Golden Retriever mix is about 11 years old.
MIA, the female Bully Breed mix, is between 10-11 years old.

Please think about it. . .could you give a Senior Dog a home in their final years? CVAC has a lot of info on these three. There is no adoption fee.

Wow...time flies! I can't believe that Henry and Sierra are past their 5th Birthday and have been part of our family for 5 years. I wanted to let you know they are doing great. In March we adopted them a little sister. Her name is Scout. She is a character. She keeps them on their toes and is bringing the puppy out in them both. I just wanted to give you an update and we hope all is well with you and the pups. Gary and Bridget

Just a quick update! Tilda and I are back in AR. She is still her wacky self, but is settling into her “midlife” maturity, kinda sorta. lol. Hope you’re staying cool and having a great summer.

Big day for Rufus. He got to visit Dr. Janet for his neuter surgery. At check in he got weighed and has gained 15 pounds since he got here in early June. It was hard to see because he is so fluffy but her was really skinny. He also got his heartworm test today.....Negative.....YEA!!!! In the month and a half he has been here he has learned so much. He is a dream to walk on leash and has learned to sit and shake (for cookies of course.) His favorite job is to come with me to feed hopper and Walker. It is his evening job and he is very vocal if he thinks I might be forgetting. He gets along well with everyone (mostly) and hardly ever needs correcting for being too puppyish. In just a few weeks he will be ready to adopt. I think Ill post him as a Golden Retriever on stilts.
