He left his dog behind while fleeing police. Then the dog led officers straight to him. 🐕🚔

Charles Foy, 41, was riding an e-scooter on a public road in Runcorn, England, in February with his two dogs running alongside him when police ordered him to stop.

Instead, Foy took off.

But one of his Labradors couldn't keep up with the speeding scooter and was left behind. Officers approached the distressed dog—and soon discovered their unexpected four-legged guide.

In footage released by Cheshire Police, an officer gently asks the Labrador, “Has he been a bad boy and left you?”

The dog whimpered in response and then led officers to an address on Beaconsfield Road.

Inside the home, police found Foy hiding in the attic beneath pieces of insulation.

Foy was later sentenced to three months in prison for failing to stop for police, driving while disqualified, using a vehicle without insurance and failing to provide a drug test. He was also banned from driving for four years and three months.

He may have thought leaving his dog behind would help him get away. Instead, he got a dose of instant karma. 🐾

After her family's car rolled over on a highway in British Columbia, a frightened Australian shepherd named Daisy ran into the woods and disappeared. For three long days, her family searched desperately, hoping she would somehow find her way back.

As the search continued, Forrest Kellerman, a volunteer with Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSR), learned about Daisy while responding to an unrelated call nearby. Although searching for missing pets isn't part of the organization's official mandate, the story stayed with him. As the owner of two Australian shepherds himself, he decided to help.

On Sunday and Monday, Forrest spent his own time methodically searching the logging roads and forest surrounding the crash site, but Daisy was nowhere to be found.

Then, on Tuesday evening, Forrest and his wife, Tracey, headed out for one last search.

At around 7 p.m., Tracey spotted something she could hardly believe.

Sitting patiently in the passenger seat of one of the vehicles involved in the accident was Daisy.

After spending three nights alone in the wilderness, the loyal dog had somehow found her way back to the last place she had seen her family and waited for them to return.

Forrest quickly contacted Daisy's owners, who were still searching nearby, and within moments they were reunited with their beloved dog.

While finding lost pets isn't officially part of search and rescue work, the skills these volunteers learn can sometimes make miracles like this possible.

And for one worried family, it meant bringing Daisy home. ❤️

A dog wearing a buttoned-up blue denim shirt has become an unlikely internet celebrity after being taken into protective custody by British Transport Police.

Officers were called to Wolverhampton railway station after receiving reports that a woman was intoxicated and not adequately caring for her dog. The stylish pup was removed from the situation and temporarily placed in alternative care while inquiries continue.

But it wasn't the rescue that got social media talking—it was the dog's outfit.

After police shared a photo of the pooch sitting in a police van, peering out the window with what many described as a thoroughly unimpressed expression, the internet quickly went to work.

Some joked that the dog's arrest must have been for a "crime against fashion," while others wondered whether officers had dressed him up for the photo.

The police were quick to set the record straight: "Can confirm the fashion crime was not our doing!"

Meanwhile, thousands of people fell in love with the dapper canine, calling him "stylish," "handsome," and even declaring it their favorite police photo of all time.

As for the dog himself, judging by his expression, he seems to be maintaining his innocence and would like his lawyer present before answering any questions.

Fortunately, the well-dressed suspect is safe and being cared for while the investigation continues. 🐶👔🚔

Big thanks to whoever shared this toy — my dog and I owe you big time. He usually turns every new toy into confetti within a day, so I wasn't expecting much. Then THIS Octopus showed up. I honestly thought, “No chance this one lasts.” Fast forward a month, and it's still going strong. Now he carries this Octopus around like it's his prized possession. Never thought a toy would outlast my little destroyer, but here we are. Thanks for proving me wrong 😂
